Sunny Days on the Sand

I can't believe that Grace has grown so fast!!! She truly enjoys her time on the beach!

Our last hurrah at the beach for the year ended at SunFest!!! We ended up with an almost 90 degree day on Saturday where the sun was shining and we just HAD to go down to the beach. We caught the Scopes guys and he took these pictures! Arguably the best pics of the summer!

Sunny (finally) San Diego!!!!

The highlight of the trip. Many people had told us that we HAD to visit the zoo and they were right. This is by far the greatest zoo I have ever been too.

Grace enjoyed the end of the day ride on a "just her size" carousel. When asked what her favorite animal was at the zoo.... she says the snakes... Must be her daddy's girl coming out because momma is not a big fan!!!

Waiting for dinner at an Italian restaurant, in between the rain drops, Thursday evening. We met everyone out this evening, including Scott and Susanne.

We visited San Diego for mommy's NCTM conference this week. Though they tell me that it never rains in southern California, it sure did while we were here!!! Since we flew in, the rain has been falling sporadically.... until Friday!!!! We are making the most of this day since the weather has truly become as beautiful as we expected. It has been nice to visit with Uncle Tim, Clark, Berkeley, Cousin Scott and his wife Susanne. What a trip!!!! Though the weather did cooperate, we are happily returning home soon. Enjoy these pics of the fun we had!!!

Aquarium Fun

Calypso is a rescued sea turtle who is housed at the aquarium. She only has 3 fins but moves around the tank with those sharks and sting rays just fine. We love to get there at 10:30 and see them all feed. Calypso loves to tear up heads of lettuce.

For Christmas we received a family membership to the national Aquarium in Baltimore. While Mommy worked Saturday school, Daddy and Grace visited the aquarium each week. Grace really enjoyed herself, each time finding a new favorite place in the aquarium. It is so nice to be able to go and not feel like we have to spend the whole day with a 2 year old!!! She can come and go as she pleases and even sneak in a dolphin show here and there. What a great year ahead visiting all our favorite animals.

After the third blizzard of the season, they brought in bulldozers to clear the street...What a relief!!! I am proud of Baltimore!!!

Grace had obviously never seen so much snow. Brian built her a slide of snow.

Grace wanted to eat all of the snow, but we kept telling her that she had to eat faster with the second blizzard coming.

Spring Has Sprung!

This was a while back but she does love her tutu's thanks to Grammy and Nana! Luckily, we have lost the pacifier since then.....

So I realized that as Grace has gotten older, I have not been taking as many pictures.... I vow to stop and take some time to get some good ones and post them in the not so distant future!!!
