What I do on my days off....

They allow for Gracie to be a bit taller....

In my spare time, says Grace, I have learned to climb steps and on top of chairs!!!


No need to sit, when there is more to see if I stand.
Among chairs, Grace also enjoys climbing the baby gate, the steps, up on the couch and trying anything else she may be able to get up on.

Grace loves the water. Next year at the beach she is going to turn into a fish!! She has no fear.

We have been visiting the local pools a lot this summer and have made it to a couple beaches. Though Grace can't walk quite yet, she moves her way around all of them. Next year, she will be able to ride some of the rides at the pier in Ocean City and run through the waves. This year was nice because she could just sit back and take it all in and mommy and daddy could keep up with her since she can't run away yet. We have had a great summer and we are preparing for the upcoming school year which begins very soon.

We have had two visits with cousin Sophie in just two weeks, three in three weeks to be precise!!! What fun has been had as Sophie teaches Grace all the new things... first crawling, then standing, now walking and how 'bout some teeth.... We're working on that too.
